145 works—books, ceramics, furniture, jewelry, photos, and textiles—examine Boston's contributions to the Arts and Crafts movement between 1890 and 1930. The movement—which began in England as a reaction to the Industrial Revolution—valued individual, handmade objects that were both beautiful and utilitarian over those mass produced. Organized by the Davis Museum and Cultural Center, Wellesley College, Mass.
