The Indian subcontinent is presented in 134 photographs shot between 1840 and 1911 during the golden age of early photography. The exhibition highlights the art of the panoramic photograph; the British passion for architectural and ethnographic documentation; and works by photographers Felice Beato, Samuel Bourne, and Lala Deen Dayal.
