Location: Gallery 13
26 paintings and objects, dating from the 10th to 14th centuries, explore the depiction of mountains--real and imaginary--in Chinese art. Twelve paintings are from the Freer's collection of Song (960-1279) and Yuan (1279-1368) dynasty works. Note: This exhibition is in conjunction with the Freer Gallery's 75th anniversary.
