Acupuncture has been in and out of fashion over the centuries and is currently in the midst of a period of expansion and acceptance in the United States. This small showcase explores the complexity of transnational cultural exchange by looking at the recent history of acupuncture, both in China and the U.S. Note: The previous title was Acupuncture: A Transnational Story of Health.
