Visiting the Cooper-Hewitt as a part of a U.S. tour, this major exhibition of more than 300 ethnographic and historic artifacts presents the richness and scope of Hawaiian culture. On display are objects of wood, ivory, stone, shell, basketwork, and feather-work garments as well as paintings, sketches, and photographs by Westerners.
