Museum: American Art Museum
Location: 1st Floor, East, Lawrence A. Fleischman Gallery
This Archives of American Art exhibition reveals artist Joseph Cornell's sense of wonder and illuminates his creative process. On view are such objects as his diaries; photographs; letters he received from some of the writers, artists, and actresses who inspired him; and a sampling of material he collected to use in his boxes and collages, including images from magazines and books, prints, maps, and artifacts.
