See 2 suites of prints, 9 audio sculptures, and 3 related wall drawings that focus on the life and slavery of Henry "Box" Brown. The exhibition includes "crate" sculptures that re-create the experiences of Brown, who shipped himself from Richmond to Philadelphia to gain freedom from slavery. The title was taken from Gwendolyn Brooks's 1981 book of poems To Disembark.
