The Dangerous Logic of Wooing (2002) is the museum's latest site-specific installation by Brazilian sculptor Ernesto Neto. The suspended, room-size fabric sculpture consists of two large interlocked forms, filled with over 1000 cubic feet of tiny Styrofoam pellets and counterbalanced in the air by nearly 1000 pounds of white rice distributed in twelve sacks. The sculpture creates a metaphorical landscape of space and body that is as architectural as it is corporeal.
