On view are 69 black-and-white photographs made between 1977 and 1980 by the artist (b. 1954). The works suggest, without actually imitating, stills from Grade-B, Hitchcock-esque, noir films that feature a female character exhibiting vulnerability, anxiety, self-consciousness, and fear.
