Museum: Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden
Location: Directions Gallery, 3rd Floor
On view are sculptural forms combining brass, puckered suede, chalk, and paper--part seductive, part repellent objects and installations that suggest animal or human anatomy, including a 12-foot wide wall sculpture incorporating two backlit photographs in light boxes on either side of a pinched, puckered, and threaded form--by British artist Cathy de Monchaux (b. 1960).
