Storytelling has long been a part of Native American culture. This exhibition features comics and comic-inspired art to explore how these new narrative art forms incorporate storytelling to express the contemporary Native American experience. Also on view are examples of earlier forms of Native American narrative art -- including photographs of rock art, ledger art, and ceramics -- to link contemporary comic art with these older Native American art traditions.
