Over 100 items from ancient to modern explore the cultural significance and history of jewelry design. The exhibit looks at how jewelry reflects identity, status, and aesthetics. Items include Egyptian mummy beads, 18th-century court jewelry, rare examples of 19th-century goldwork, gemstone buttons, 20th-century costume jewelry, and contemporary designs.
