Museum: Sackler Gallery
Location: Graphics Gallery
On view is a selection of 29 woodblock prints, most in triptych format, that survey the application of this medium to reportage of Japan's war with Imperial Russia. A selection of illustrations is also shown, contrasting the two forms of early 20th-century battle documentation. Note: An earlier title of this exhibition was Russo/Japanese Prints.
