Biological Abstracts, a semimonthly publication, abstracts articles from nearly all the major technical biological journals. Listings are by subject, author, key word and systematic heading.

Journal of Mammalogy, a publication of the American Society of Mammalogists, H. Marine Mammal Commission is an independent U.S. government agency. It provides annual reports and copies of pertinent articles describing current research and the status of marine mammals. Marine Mammal Science, a quarterly journal published by the Society for Marine Mammalogy, an international organization of marine mammalogists, is devoted to authoritative, technical papers on all aspects of marine mammal biology. It includes book reviews and letters with commentary on issues affecting marine mammals or marine mammal science. For subscription information, write to Dr. K.J. Zoological Record, an index published by the Zoological Society of London, specializes in citations of interest to taxonomists but also lists articles on morphology, physiology, genetics, and ecology of specific animal groups; indexed by author, subject, systematics, and geographic area.
