Accessible Features for the Museums and Zoo

Assisted ListeningThe IMAX theater is equipped with Rear Window Captioning and Assisted Listening. Request reflectors and receivers with a neck loop or headset attachment at the ticket counter. Mission related films are provided with captions and verbal description. The Planetarium is equipped with Open Captioning. Request the captioning when you purchase your ticket. The information desks are equipped with an induction loop. Look for the sign on the desk to use the loop. Visitor Service Volunteer provide receiver with a headset attachment for device with a t-coil switch.

There is no public parking facility at the Smithsonian on the National Mall; on-street parking is limited and posted times are enforced.
